Publication schedule

The journal is purely electronic, and publishes four issues per year, with an annual volume limited to 800 pages.

 

Peer review

All published papers are reviewed by peers, and approved by the Editorial Board.

 

Code of practice

The journal supports the principles of the Code of Practice recommended by the European Mathematical Society.

 

Open access policy

The journal provides immediate open access to its content. No subscription is needed, and no download fees are charged.

For authors, there are no charges for submission, processing or publication of papers in this journal. 

 

Copyright

Authors retain copyright, and grant the journal right of first publication of the article under a CC-BY licence, and without any financial compensation. 

 

Open archiving

The Annals of Representation Theory allows authors to deposit their publications in open archives, with the agreement of their co-authors. Authors may deposit all versions of their article, including the final accepted version, provided that they indicate the url of the original article.

 

Retraction policy

Papers that constitute a case of unethical research misconduct, for example, plagiarism and duplicate publication, will be removed from the platform and/or the journal site.

 

Privacy statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of the journal, and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.

 

Use of AI

Authors submitting to ART may use AI tools for minor editing tasks—such as spell-checking, grammar improvements, or assistance with figures and diagrams—without providing an explicit acknowledgment.

Any use of generative AI that contributes to the substance of the paper, including assistance with arguments, analysis, or citations, must be acknowledged through a brief declaration at the end of the manuscript. In all cases, the authors remain fully responsible and accountable for the paper’s content.

Manuscripts that are largely generated by AI tools are not eligible for submission to this journal.
